Advocates for Children and Families (ACF), is a not-for-profit adoption agency based in Florida. Our staff is specially trained in adoption services and consists of attorneys, licensed mental health counselors and skilled support staff. ACF is licensed by the State of Florida to place children in approved adoptive homes throughout Florida and the United States. We also do intercountry adoption placements. Since 1992, the guiding principal of ACF has been that every child deserves a permanent home in a nurturing environment.
Our mission is to provide effective adoption agency services to people creating new family relationships through adoption. ACF provides a full range of legal and social services for birth parents, adoptive parents and the children.
ACF birth parent services include counseling, financial assistance, support groups, and open or confidential adoptions. Adoptive parent services include home studies, parent training, counseling, child placement, interstate compact services, and all of the legal work necessary to finalize an adoption.
