    Our Family

Our daughter, whom we adopted at birth, has been an   incredible start to the large  family we hope to one day have. She has joined an extended family full of love made up of dear ones living close and afar.

We have always dreamed of parenting more than one child. Both of us were raised in families with five children and enjoyed the constant companions we had in our brothers and   sisters.

We look forward to a lively home full of children’s laughter and new lives exploring the world. We will see that each child, although living within a family, will have the opportunity to be an individual.

Our extended family is vitally important to us and we see them often.  We enjoy celebrating birthdays and holidays together as well as Sunday afternoon meals.  Everyone in our family is excited to welcome the addition of a new baby.  They will be an integral part of the baby’s life.

    Our Relationship

The relationship began when Larry hired Lenette to refinish his kitchen cabinets.  Thirty hours later, the job was complete and a friendship formed.  Over the next several months, we fell in love and two years later married in a beautiful weekend celebration with family and friends.  Still best friends, we each bring different things to our marriage.  Larry provides security, stability, and emotional strength while Lenette provides organization, creativity, and a fresh outlook on life.  We have a great respect for each other and a solid, heartfelt love.

As parents we share this love and our skills and talents with our child.  Our daughter enriches our lives as a couple by   allowing us to see new things through her eyes.  Her future siblings will share this love, becoming a part of the family we’ve always desired.

    Lenette on Larry

Larry was raised in South Florida enjoying an idyllic childhood.  His closest friends today are the same ones he played ball with as a boy.  Larry values loyalty, integrity, and hard work.

As a father, Larry is closely connected emotionally to our daughter.  He yearns for more children to     mentor.  Larry has a goofy, childish side that balances his responsible, even-tempered adult qualities.

Larry loves good food, golf, and college sports. He has built his business into a successful company that continues to grow.  He is well respected throughout the local community.

Larry is a sensitive and caring husband who tells me daily that I am beautiful.  I know he loves me with all of his heart and has plenty of time and affection to devote to the people in his life.

    Larry on Lenette

Lenette is the perfect woman for me.  She brings me great joy and her outlook on life has let me see and do things I would have never done.  The glass is definitely half full for Lenette, and if it wasn’t she would just fill it right up!  I know her outlook is contagious for our daughter. All of our children will learn to love life like she does.

She is incredibly creative and has deco- rated our home, making it a warm and comfy place to live.  She also decorated our nursery. We cannot wait to share it with our next child.

Because of her intelligence and eternal optimism there doesn’t seem to be anything she can’t do.  She is organized beyond compare and runs a perfect household. Although she was a business executive, she has very comfortably settled into her role as homemaker and stay-at-home-mom.

Lenette will give our children a spiritual, healthy, energized and exciting childhood. She will leave no stone unturned in showing our children all the beautiful things there are to life.

    Plans for Baby

We really look forward to the joy a new life will add to our family. We hope our children will be close in age and grow up as playmates. In our home, baby will enjoy the nursery just steps from our bedroom. And big sister will keep at eye out from her room across the hall. We are prepared, and now even experienced, to handle the sleepless nights a newborn demands as well as each of the child's other needs as he or she grows into a young man or woman. Lenette will continue to stay home full time providing band-aids for scrapped knees, tissues for teary eyes, and plenty of activities for a quiet or an active child.

Our children's education is extremely important. We will pick the best schools for them whether public or private. We will encourage our children to attend college and follow whatever career dreams they may have; astronaut, chef, firefighter, teacher, scientist, ballerina, whatever they choose. We will expose our children to the arts, sports, community activities, and things that will help him or her become a well-rounded citizen.

Larry loves his Italian heritage and Lenette is proud of her Polish background. We plan to share our heritage with our children along with celebrating their own traditions.

Most importantly we will love each child we parent unconditionally. We will be blessed with any child given to our care.

    Our dogs

Loveable Simba is an active twelve year old Sheltie mix.  He loves to play fetch and give kisses.  He was adopted from the Humane Society and loves sticking his head out the window on car rides.

Mo was rescued from a warehouse four years ago and joined our family when Larry brought her home to Lenette for Valentine’s Day.  She and Simba run around the yard together looking for lizards.  Mo likes a good rawhide bone after dinner and takes shelter in the doghouse Lenette built during storms.  Mo is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a loud bark to warn us of danger.
Simba and Mo competed in a charity race at the greyhound track.  Simba ran sideways and was disqualified and Mo never left the starting line!
