Dear Birth Mother: Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. You are in our thoughts & prayers as you make this courageous journey towards placing your child for adoption. We have been trying for over ten years to have a baby, and after a miscarriage and fertility problems we decided adoption would be the way to create our family. We adopted our son, Andrew in 2006 and we are ready for him to have a little brother or sister soon.
Our Story:
We have been married for 17 years and have been together for over 20 years. We met on the school bus in our sophomore year of high school 28 years ago and have been best friends ever since. We have a great marriage and get along really well with each other. Our relationship grows stronger every day and we are very much in love.

Our son Andrew was adopted in 2006 through ACF.
We had such a wonderful experience with Ginger and her staff that we knew when we were ready to adopt for the second time we would be calling her again. Andrew is 2 ½ years old and such a joy. He keeps us very busy, and we are amazed by him every day. He is such a blessing and we look forward to expanding our family and giving Andrew a little brother or sister.

We have two black toy poodles named Charlie & Kelsey. They get along really well with Andrew. They are 12 years old now and don’t mind having a little person around the house.
Our home:
We live in a lovely three-bedroom home with a fenced yard located in a nice, safe, family-oriented community. There are city parks in the neighborhood that are always filled with children playing and families having fun together. The church is within walking distance to our home, we are close to shopping, and have several friends and co-workers living nearby as well.
For Fun:
We enjoy traveling and have visited many places such as the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and most of the United States. We especially love Disney World and have even been to Disneyland in Paris.

We like to spend time with friends & family, and enjoy our nieces & nephews. Paul’s sister has 7 children and we are very close to them and see them often.
About Michelle:
I am an only child, but I have a large extended family with many aunts, uncles and cousins. My heritage is French and English and I was raised Catholic. I am very close to my parents and we like to go on vacations with them. When we adopted Andrew, I was working full time and did not want my son in daycare, so my mom quit her job to stay home & care for him. They are wonderful grandparents and eagerly await the arrival of their second grandchild. I recently quit my job and I now stay home with my son. I wanted to spend more time with him before a sibling arrives. My hobbies are baking, painting pottery, arts & crafts projects and spending time with my friends & family.
About Paul:
I have an older brother and two younger sisters. I also have a large extended family. My heritage is French and Italian and I was raised Catholic. My parents live close by and we see them often. One of my sisters has seven children whose ages range from 7-18. We enjoy spending time with her kids and they are looking forward to having another cousin real soon. My hobbies are playing computer games, reading, photography, fixing things around the house. I prefer to spend time with my friends & family.
About Andrew:
I am 2 ½ years old and I would love a baby brother or sister. My favorite things to do are to help Mommy & Daddy around the house. I help fix things with Daddy and help Mommy clean the house. I really enjoy the vacuum cleaner and like to use it often. I like going to my grandma’s house and play in her pool and have lots of fun with all my cousins. My favorite television shows are “Bob the Builder” and “Handy Manny”.
Our plans:

We plan on Michelle staying at home with the children and we will have them enter daycare when they are older. We also want our children to attend private school. We will encourage them to reach their goals and dreams and we will do whatever we can to support them.

In Conclusion:
We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you and the struggles you are going through at this time. We will let your child know that they were placed with us out of love and that you wanted the best possible life for your baby. We will welcome your child into our home and fill their lives with love. We will be open & honest and the child will always know how grateful we are to you for giving us this wonderful gift.
Thank you for considering us & may God bless you.
